In all our business activities we constantly adhere to the Glico Group Action Standard that was promulgated in May of 2002. The Corporate Ethics Committee chaired by the President of Glico further oversees business activities from the ethics point of view aided by the Corporate Ethics Hotline that enables employees to directly inform the Corporate Ethics Committee of any infractions.
Implementing and strengthening corporate governance is a key managerial theme. Governance involves the Board of Directors and the Board of Auditors. Meetings of the Board of Directors take place, in principle, once a month while auditors not only take part in internal meetings, but also audit the execution of business matters by directors.
