



Office Glico is our new business launched in 2002 with the concept of "workplace refreshment." Office Glico's sales reps visit offices and workplaces to sell Glico confectionery and ice cream products and collect payment. One of our unique sales activities, this business's main focus is to enhance consumption of confectionery items at workplaces, especially targeting male workers. These activities are expected to lead to increased sales of confectionery items overall.


Developing new sales channels is another key sales activity alongside a promotion to increase sales space at existing stores. In particular, Seventeen Ice Cream has been successfully marketed using unique and new sales ideas. We have built sales partnerships with various businesses such as bowling centers, swimming schools and amusement facilities, which has so far resulted in approximately 16,000 sales locations and achieved top brand in its product category.
We have also developed various sales channels to meet different customer needs. We are selling sports supplements at sports facilities, while offering products on the Internet combined with interesting related product information. We have also released a series of confectionery items featuring local specialties at souvenir shops targeting tourists.


The first Glico-Ya shop opened in the Dango-zaka Service Area on the inbound lane of the Chuo Expressway in 2001. The shop sells Glico products only, and unique products such as Pocky and One-touch Curry packaged just as they appeared when they first came out are also available. Along with these, many other original items such as jumbo Pocky Cake and items such as badges and cell phone straps featuring the Glico runner are available exclusively at Glico-Ya shops.
